South Korean photographer Eun Chun investigates the concept of ‘seeing’ from a range of perspectives. This catalogue was published for her 2013 solo show, entitled The Photography is the retina of scholars / La photographie est la rétine du savant. The project involved 9 amateur astronomers. Eun met with each photographer, then took photos of their self-built astronomy equipment. She then displayed photographs of their equipment – the astronomers 'eyes' – alongside the images that they captured.
